• Your objective will be to convert Neon’s distinctive data streams into the benchmark for AI training and assessment.

• You will connect our 500,000+ mobile users with the foremost AI laboratories worldwide, directly collaborating with your colleagues in these labs.

• You will shape our research agenda, positioning Neon as a leading authority in audio data research and evaluation science.

• You’ll spearhead the creation of AI-assisted evaluation pipelines to characterize and validate the data produced by our platform, ensuring it addresses the "data bottleneck" for cutting-edge AI models.

• Authorization to work in the US.

• Proven track record of impactful AI/ML research, particularly in data evaluation, oversight, and generative AI.

• Extensive audio and multimodal expertise, with the ability to comprehend and articulate the latest advancements in the field.

• Strong involvement in the AI research community; you are fluent in the terminology of leading labs and are aware of current trends in model training and evaluation.

• A "Founder’s Mentality." You thrive in ambiguous situations and have a demonstrated ability to convert complex research insights into production-ready data products.

• Outstanding communication skills, capable of forging relationships with top-tier researchers while effectively conveying Neon’s value proposition to partners.

• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch, with experience in designing and conducting thorough ML experiments and evaluations.
