This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee enterprise applications that facilitate engineering, government systems, supply chain operations, and corporate functions.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to collect requirements, identify improvement opportunities, and implement technology solutions that fulfill operational needs.
• Direct application lifecycle processes, encompassing implementation, integration, upgrades, modernization, maintenance, and decommissioning.
• Manage relationships with software vendors, including licensing agreements, maintenance contracts, and support services.
• Enhance software usage, ensure licensing compliance, optimize support services, and improve overall application value.
• Assist in managing the application portfolio, including rationalization and modernization efforts.
• Ensure adherence to security, governance, regulatory, and operational standards.
• Set governance benchmarks, monitor application performance, assess risks, and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
• Create reports, analytics, dashboards, and performance metrics to aid in decision-making and uncover emerging technology prospects.
• Work with cross-functional and global teams to support enterprise technology programs and achieve business goals.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Over 7 years of experience in supporting enterprise applications, engineering systems, supply chain platforms, or digital engineering environments.
• Proven experience in managing application lifecycles, including implementations, upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning processes.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and supporting custom-developed business applications, system integrations, and business workflows.
• Expertise in software licensing, software asset management, vendor management, and contract renewals.
• Strong business analysis, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capacity to convert business needs into actionable technology solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Experience working effectively within cross-functional and globally distributed teams.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and drive projects to successful completion.
• Knowledge of application governance, risk management, and best practices in operational support.
