Senior Specialist, Program Scheduler

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Overseeing the creation and upkeep of intricate program schedules, which include resource loading and Earned Value Analysis.

• Assist the programs in formulating plans and incorporating inputs from all relevant programs.

• Collaborate with all components of the program team to develop and maintain the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) regularly.

• Conduct schedule analysis to support assigned programs and projects.

• Ensure that major projects and program schedules are integrated across various company functional groups, including finance, engineering, materials, manufacturing, and quality.

• Monitor plans and schedules, perform risk assessments, and identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts.

• Apply Critical Path, Driving Path, Variance metrics, milestone charts, Earned Value Management, and other project management techniques to assess progress and pinpoint performance variances, facilitating focus and intervention on critical areas.

• Ensure adherence to internal program procedures and project control system guidelines as per DECM metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of scheduling experience.

• Graduate Degree with at least 4 years of scheduling experience.

• Alternatively, a minimum of 10 years of relevant scheduling experience without a degree.

• Over 3 years of experience in creating and/or maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and any supporting schedules for assigned projects/programs.

• More than 3 years of experience using scheduling software, such as Microsoft Project.

• At least 2 years of experience in preparing and presenting project-level reports, presentations, and deliverables that convey risks and status to program management and senior management regarding the IMS.
