
Senior Specialist, Precision Machining

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +4 more states.
β’ Spearhead the development of new suppliers and cultivate strategic partnerships.
β’ Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure effective development of new sourcing options.
β’ Evaluate metal products, precision machining, and raw material supply chains to formulate strategies that bolster DoD programs.
β’ Assist in the planning and execution of vital precision machining projects across various Munition Acceleration Committee (MAC) focused initiatives.
β’ Oversee budgets related to capacity projects.
β’ Travel up to 20% to supplier sites (may involve some international travel as necessary).
β’ Bachelorβs Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant machining experience.
β’ Graduate Degree with at least 4 years of related machining experience.
β’ Alternatively, a minimum of 10 years of pertinent machining experience in lieu of a degree.
β’ Experience in Supply Chain management within precision machining, rare earth minerals, castings, and forgings is preferred.
β’ Proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications, along with MRP/ERP system familiarity.
β’ Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously.
β’ Competence in leading meetings and crafting presentation materials.
