This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.
• Serve as the highest level of technical escalation for intricate enterprise customer challenges.
• Spearhead root cause analyses and resolution efforts for critical production incidents.
• Diagnose complex integrations involving SAP, Oracle, cloud services, APIs, and enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams to pinpoint platform enhancements and validate solutions.
• Manage the resolution of high-severity incidents impacting strategic enterprise customers.
• Analyze application behaviors, transaction flows, logs, APIs, and database activities across distributed systems.
• Develop scripts, automation tools, and diagnostic solutions to enhance operational efficiency and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Participate in support readiness initiatives for new product launches and platform upgrades.
• Mentor engineers throughout the organization and offer technical guidance on complex investigations.
• Enhance knowledge-sharing practices by generating technical documentation and enablement materials.
• Identify systemic challenges and recommend long-term enhancements to tools, workflows, and platform reliability.
• Engage in customer-facing technical discussions, escalation calls, and architecture-related dialogues.
• Contribute to AI and automation projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and intelligent support experiences.
• Over 7 years of experience in technical support engineering, enterprise applications engineering, software engineering, site reliability engineering, or similar technical roles.
• Extensive expertise in troubleshooting enterprise application ecosystems and distributed systems within production environments.
• Profound understanding of enterprise integration patterns between SAP and Oracle ecosystems.
• Practical experience with REST/SOAP APIs, SQL and enterprise databases, XML/JSON, OAuth 2.0, JDBC, HTTP/HTTPS, RFC/JCo, and OData.
• Strong knowledge of database platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SAP HANA, or DB2.
• Experience in supporting cloud-native and SaaS environments within AWS, Azure, OCI, or comparable cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with microservices architectures, multi-tenant systems, and scalable cloud applications.
• Experience with Linux and application server environments like Tomcat, Java runtime environments, and distributed application stacks.
• Demonstrated ability to lead intricate technical investigations and root cause analysis efforts.
• Excellent communication skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively across Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and executive stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring engineers and spearheading technical initiatives across teams.
• Proficiency in English (C1 level or higher), both written and spoken.
