Senior Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Establish and cultivate relationships with customer technical staff to effectively comprehend their needs and challenges.

• Assess sales opportunities by analyzing customer technical requirements, decision-making frameworks, and key demand drivers.

• Identify and communicate the business value of Boomi's Enterprise Platform.

• Develop engaging presentations that illustrate how Boomi addresses pain points for both technical and business decision-makers.

• Offer technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales journey, ensuring a seamless transition from presales to implementation.

• Understand the competitive landscape and effectively position Boomi's solutions against competitors.

• Collaborate with sales teams, solution architects, leadership, and cross-functional technical groups to maintain a consistent and effective approach to solution application and development.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies relevant to Boomi's offerings (Agentic AI, iPaaS, APIM, B2B/EDI, Business Process Automation, Managed File Transfer, Data Integration, and Data Governance).

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Business System Administration, or equivalent experience.

• Significant client-facing experience with a strong technical aptitude, presentation skills, and/or field sales or customer consulting experience is preferred.

• Experience working with a global system integrator is a considerable advantage.

• Proven track record of successful projects within Enterprise accounts.

• Solid understanding of integration technologies, focusing on APIs, data management, Agentic development, or Event Driven Architectures.

• Practical experience with integration development or data synchronization platforms such as API Management, Master Data Management, or related technologies is a significant asset.

• Knowledge of competitive landscape is a major plus.

• Experience managing quotas and supporting sales planning activities such as forecasting, account planning, and go-to-market strategies.

• Integration experience with enterprise applications like SAP, Oracle EBS, Fusion, Netsuite, MS Dynamics, Business Central, BizTalk, ServiceNow, Salesforce, IFS, or others is advantageous.

• Familiarity with any EDA platform: Solace, Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Google Pub/Sub, Amazon SNS is a plus.

• Experience with any Data platform such as Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQueries, Microsoft Fabric, Informatica, Talend, Tibco is a plus.

• Experience with Integration Platforms (iPaaS) like Mulesoft, SAP BTP, Tibco, IBM webmethods, Workato is a plus.

• Experience with AI platforms like Amazon Bedrock, Microsoft Foundry, Google Vertex AI, IBM watsonx.ai, or others is an advantage.

• Strong business acumen with the capability to understand, design, and validate system architectures relevant to modern enterprise environments.

• Ability to uncover customer needs and effectively communicate the business value of solutions.

• Capacity to prioritize tasks and facilitate effective communication within global cross-functional teams.

• Ability to take ownership within highly professional teams.

• Strong presentation skills, active listening, and comfort presenting to a diverse range of audiences, both in terms of responsibility and technical expertise.

• An innate passion for creative problem-solving and a desire to understand how things function.

• Ability to alternate between working independently and collaboratively for extended periods.

• Recognize the importance of continuous learning while also being a coach and mentor to fellow team members.
