This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Act as the AI subject-matter expert throughout the pre-sales process, assisting prospects and clients from private practice, corporate legal, government, and academia in understanding how generative AI addresses their specific workflow challenges.
• Create and present demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and design-thinking workshops that illustrate the capabilities of CoCounsel and Thomson Reuters' Generative AI-enabled platform.
• Collaborate with account teams to refine deal strategies, determine the most suitable solutions, and address any technical objections that may hinder a sale.
• Conduct education sessions on features/releases and enable use-cases so that both new and existing clients can quickly harness the full value of the offerings.
• Develop and implement client success plans and value assessments to enhance retention and growth.
• Represent Thomson Reuters publicly as an authority on AI in the legal sector through webinars, conference presentations, and industry speaking opportunities.
• Keep abreast of the AI landscape by converting emerging capabilities into actionable, defensible use cases for legal, government, and academic audiences.
• Proficiency in discussing generative AI and agentic workflows, with the ability to translate that knowledge into legal-specific use cases that would be trusted by a General Counsel or managing partner, covering both litigation and transactional aspects.
• Over 5 years of experience in solution consulting, pre-sales, or a similar client-facing technical role, preferably in a B2B context; experience in public sector/government procurement is advantageous.
• Ability to be the most knowledgeable person in the room regarding product and technology without dominating the conversation, demonstrating a strong presence with senior executives, partners, and large audiences.
• Experience navigating a complex, matrixed organization and the skill to influence without formal authority.
• Excellent analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and the creativity to design impactful demos or workshops.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines effectively without compromising quality.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a JD with practical experience is a significant advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and capable of quickly adapting to new web-based platforms.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is a plus.
