Senior Software Test Engineer, L3 and L4 – Autonomous Driving

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create testing strategies and scenarios for Level 3 and Level 4 autonomous driving products.

• Outline the testing strategy and execution plan for the vehicle platform.

• Develop test cases and establish essential performance metrics.

• Work collaboratively with various stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and assess product development.

• Build strong cross-functional relationships with team members.

• Oversee the integration and retrofitting of Level 3 and Level 4 vehicles.

• Lead data triage efforts and conduct root cause analyses.

• Foster and enhance a robust systems engineering methodology.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's or PhD degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• Over 10 years of demonstrated experience in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), system analysis, data analysis, and software architecture.

• At least 3 years of experience in facilitating the mass-production launch of autonomous driving products.

• Expertise in programming languages commonly utilized in autonomous vehicle development and testing (e.g., Python, C++).

• Knowledge of functional safety standards (ISO 26262).

• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal abilities.

• A solid grasp of the trade-offs between End-to-End deep learning techniques and classical modular perception/planning frameworks.
