Senior Software Engineer – w/m/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Spearhead practical research and development initiatives in GenAI, concentrating on tangible use cases and measurable outcomes.

• Develop and deploy full-stack features utilizing FastAPI, Angular, and AWS, taking ownership of the entire process from commit to production.

• Direct technical decisions, facilitate architectural discussions, and mentor fellow engineers through code reviews and system design.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proactive in utilizing GenAI tools to enhance development workflows with real, impactful results (beyond the LinkedIn buzz).

• Strong enthusiasm for finance, markets, or investing (e.g., equities, ETFs), with a desire to cultivate domain expertise.

• Excellent proficiency in Python and TypeScript, with over 5 years of experience delivering production software.

• Practical experience with a leading cloud platform (preferably AWS).

• Strong communication abilities, capable of clearly articulating concepts and decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• A solid sense of ownership, showcasing initiative, independence, and the capability to transition work from problem identification to solution implementation.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture (Nice to Have).

• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) (Nice to Have).

• Experience with the Angular frontend framework (Nice to Have).

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and/or AWS CDK (Nice to Have).
