Senior Software Engineer – Test (SDET)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable and maintainable automation frameworks.

• Enhance the quality and reliability of CI/CD pipelines.

• Automate testing for applications, APIs, integrations, and end-to-end workflows.

• Minimize flaky tests and improve automation stability.

• Collaborate closely with Software Engineering, DevOps, and Product teams.

• Promote best practices in quality, automation, and modern testing.

• Participate in technology modernization initiatives and cloud-native environments.

• Explore modern practices for AI-assisted testing and intelligent automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in test automation / SDET / Quality Engineering.

• Strong programming skills (JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python, C#, or others).

• Experience with modern frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar.

• Background in automated API testing.

• Experience working with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar).

• Familiarity with cloud-native environments, microservices, or distributed architectures.

• Ability to analyze complex quality issues and perform technical debugging.

• Software engineering mindset with a focus on scalable quality.

• Fluent English (B2+ or higher - a mandatory requirement).

• Availability to work in Central Time.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes (a plus).

• Experience in improving observability, reliability, or release quality (a plus).

• Knowledge or interest in AI-assisted testing / AI workflows (a plus).
