Senior Software Engineer, Tech Lead – Web3 Initiatives, NodeJS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Design and implement production-ready smart contracts across various blockchains (including Solana, Ethereum, and potentially others as the business grows).

• Take ownership of CaaS web3 capabilities — develop secure, scalable blockchain systems for card-as-a-service, asset management, and financial applications.

• Spearhead the discovery and development of wallet infrastructure — designing wallet solutions that align with Reap's product strategy.

• Create backend services (using Node.js/TypeScript) to facilitate on-chain functionality, collaborating closely with backend engineering teams.

• Work alongside product and business teams to transform concepts into clear, secure technical implementations.

• Contribute to decisions regarding architecture, participate in code reviews, and conduct security audits.

• Utilize AI tools and contemporary development methodologies to enhance engineering efficiency and speed.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-8+ years of experience in software development, preferably with backend engineering experience in Node.js/TypeScript and AWS (or comparable cloud infrastructure).

• 3+ years of experience in creating smart contracts on Solana (using Rust) or Ethereum (using Solidity), with in-depth expertise in at least one and a willingness to work in a multi-chain setting.

• Proven experience in building wallet infrastructure (both hot and cold wallets).

• Strong product intuition and the capability to take complete ownership of technical projects.

• Proven utilization of AI tools to enhance development efficiency.

• Excellent communication skills, strong collaboration abilities, and a commitment to maintaining code quality.

• Experience in the fintech industry is preferred.
