Senior Software Engineer – SimCore

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement applied AI/ML solutions that enhance simulation workflows, internal tools, and engineering applications

• Transition from initial exploration and rapid prototyping to delivering robust systems

• Work closely with simulation, scenario-generation, data, and engineering teams to identify opportunities where AI can add value

• Provide solutions that fulfill established customer and business success criteria

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree is required, with a PhD preferred, in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines

• Over 5 years of hands-on ML/AI engineering experience, including at least 2 years of delivering production AI systems at scale

• Extensive knowledge of at least one modern multimodal or 3D computer vision pipeline (e.g., NeRF, Gaussian Splatting, world models, diffusion-based generation)

• Proficient programming skills in Python

• Experience with a contemporary ML/AI library such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenAI APIs, HuggingFace, gsplat, etc.

• Strong understanding of ML fundamentals including data preprocessing, training pipelines, evaluation metrics, and model performance optimization

• Capability to navigate between research exploration and practical engineering seamlessly

• Proven ability to lead projects from conception to completion with minimal supervision
