• Design, develop, and implement SaaS services from start to finish—encompassing requirement analysis, solution design, deployment, production support, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Lead the charge in AI-native Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by leveraging agents throughout the design, coding, testing, and documentation phases.
• Investigate emerging technologies and solutions to enhance existing products and venture into new avenues.
• Establish comprehensive automated testing at the component level and collaborate effectively with Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET).
• Engage with standards organizations to influence next-generation standards such as W3C, WebAuthn, and OAuth.
• Interact directly with customers through product calls to comprehend their challenges and participate in an on-call rotation for incident escalation.
• Expert-Level proficiency required.
• Java SE 21+ along with Spring or Quarkus frameworks.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or an alternative container orchestration platform.
• Experience in cloud-first development environments—AWS, Azure, or comparable services.
• Knowledge of various datastores, including but not limited to: MySQL, Oracle, DynamoDB, Redshift, and Redis.
• Strong understanding of computer science algorithms, data structures, clean coding practices, and scalable design patterns.
• Experience in building scalable services with multi-region support, graceful degradation, and elastic capacity.
• Proficiency in at least one major JavaScript framework—Angular, React, or Vue.
• Familiarity with observability techniques and tools—including events, metrics, and OpenTelemetry.
• Knowledge of continuous deployment practices, including unit, acceptance, and load testing methodologies.
• Experience in Kotlin development.
• Preferred qualifications include: Knowledge of authentication protocols—OAuth, SAML, WebAuthn, PKI, Kerberos, and FIDO/FIDO2.
• Familiarity with authentication servers such as Keycloak, Ping, or Okta.
• Experience with at least one Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool—Terraform, Helm, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in a dynamically typed language such as Python, Ruby, or similar.
• At least 10 years of experience designing, building, and maintaining an enterprise web-based platform serving a minimum of 100,000 users, whether as SaaS or on-premise.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related software engineering discipline.
