Senior Software Engineer, RLE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop and expand our reinforcement learning environments along with the supporting platforms.

• Lead the design of scalable, dependable, and adaptable environment systems and data generation pipelines.

• Collaborate with Research, Product, and Operations teams to transform ambiguous requirements into production-ready systems.

• Create modular, plug-and-play domains that seamlessly integrate with training and evaluation processes.

• Enhance the standards for reliability, observability, performance, and data quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in backend development, distributed systems, or ML infrastructure.

• Expertise in ReactJS and TypeScript, with a strong understanding of backend architectures.

• Solid knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL), data modeling, system design, and principles of distributed systems.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and managing production systems at scale.

• Experience in reinforcement learning training infrastructure, simulation systems, or evaluation platforms (Preferred).

• Background in an operations-focused, tech-driven environment (Preferred).

• Experience supporting teams engaged in applied ML or AI research (Preferred).
