Senior Software Engineer – Realtime Detection

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Create and implement components aimed at real-time detection and response to security threats across hosts, Kubernetes, and Cloud assets.

• Develop distributed Go services and APIs for processing, storing, and presenting customer asset metadata and runtime insights.

• Contribute to enhancements in architecture focusing on reliability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.

• Work collaboratively with Product, Threat Research, Frontend/UX, and customer-facing teams to deliver impactful features.

• Take part in an on-call rotation to manage any urgent issues that may arise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong foundation in computer science principles including design, data structures, and algorithms.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a software engineering position.

• Proven experience in writing production services using Go (or a solid background in systems programming with a readiness to learn Go quickly).

• Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure and containerized workloads (Linux, Docker, Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of technologies such as Postgres, Elastic, Redis, and queuing systems like JetStream/Kafka.
