This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii.
• We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to become a part of Rula’s Provider Services team.
• Design and develop scalable, dependable backend systems that are essential for Rula's daily operations, third-party integrations, and telehealth services.
• Recognize and address intricate technical challenges.
• Collaborate effectively across various teams.
• Propel innovation that aligns with our goal of delivering impactful and cohesive solutions.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Over 5 years of professional engineering experience.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders.
• Proficient in designing and constructing highly scalable, reliable, available, and high-performance systems.
• Experience managing all stages of the development lifecycle: planning, execution, success measurement, and post-launch support.
• In-depth knowledge of application architecture, API design patterns, data modeling, security, performance, and scalability.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in growth-stage companies, transitioning legacy systems to microservices, and leading cross-functional projects. Proven experience in building sources of truth systems that integrate with third-party services through events and workflows. Familiarity with AWS or similar platforms. Proficient in NodeJs, Typescript, and Kafka.
