This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead your team in delivering high-quality, thoroughly tested technical solutions while providing both technical and project oversight.
• Set an example through the quality of your coding and your work approach.
• Manage projects throughout the full software development lifecycle—from planning and development to validation, iteration, and maintenance.
• Convert conceptual work into well-structured technical plans for evaluation by technical leadership and key stakeholders.
• Utilize your knowledge of business and engineering strategies to design experiments and high-impact projects that influence your team’s efforts.
• Navigate complex systems and domains effectively to pinpoint key challenges and devise strategies to tackle them.
• Take ownership of system quality and ensure team accountability through constructive and actionable feedback.
• Enhance the team's skills through code review feedback and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Manage end-to-end provider integrations: define partner specifications, develop connectors, validate against live data, and maintain field mapping and business rules as partners evolve.
• Over 5 years of experience in software development within a production environment.
• At least 2 years of experience in a senior engineering role.
• Production experience with Node.js and Typescript.
• Demonstrated experience in backend systems, designing RESTful APIs, and codifying business logic on top of data stores.
• Outstanding ability to communicate clearly and succinctly, especially in Slack and technical documents.
• Experience in product development where you played a key role in decision-making.
• Extensive expertise in system architecture and design.
• Proven track record of operational excellence.
• Experience in cross-functional leadership and collaboration.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly the Google Cloud stack.
