Senior Software Engineer, Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess and enhance the performance, scalability, and availability of backend services.

• Foster and advocate for a culture of engineering excellence.

• Execute design and code evaluations, raising the standards for engineering rigor.

• Work in conjunction with product management, customer success, and customer support to ensure the optimal experience for our users.

• Prioritize the development of consistent, cohesive REST APIs and domain-driven service design to facilitate and manage service contracts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional work.

• Over 5 years of experience in developing clean, well-architected, distributed, and scalable software solutions.

• Robust understanding of computer science principles, including in-depth knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design.

• Proficient in Java and Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.

• Experience in designing and maintaining customer-facing RESTful APIs.

• Skilled in the design and implementation of relational database schemas using PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or similar.

• Well-versed in unit and integration testing concepts and tools, such as JUnit, Mockito, or equivalent.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, git-flow, and SonarQube for CI/CD is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
