Senior Software Engineer, JavaScript/TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.

📋 Description

• Create robust backend systems utilizing NodeJS while following best coding practices.

• Build high-quality frontend applications using ReactJS / NextJS, ensuring adherence to best coding standards.

• Maintain production stability and swiftly address critical issues to reduce operational disruptions.

• Evaluate existing code to pinpoint areas for improvement and optimization.

• Assist cross-functional teams by effectively managing change requests.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers on software development best practices.

• Conduct peer pull request reviews to uphold code quality and consistency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, with a solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.

• More than 3 years of full-time experience in the field of software engineering.

• Strong proficiency in backend development technologies including NodeJS, NestJS, ExpressJS, GraphQL, and Postman.

• Adept in frontend development frameworks such as ReactJS, NextJS, and Styled-components.

• Skilled in database management, with experience in MongoDB and MySQL.

• Knowledgeable about automation workflows using tools like Selenium, Cypress, and Puppeteer.

• A demonstrated enthusiasm for programming and the ability to solve problems independently.
