This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the design and development of major software features or projects.
• Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers while offering technical guidance.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to clarify and prioritize software requirements.
• Engage in code reviews and uphold high standards of code quality.
• Investigate and resolve intricate technical challenges and bottlenecks.
• Contribute to enhancing development processes and software architecture.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and enhance products.
• Document and showcase solutions by creating documentation, code comments, and producing clear, efficient code.
• Assist in code reviews and uphold standard practices within the team.
• Commit to continuous learning and adaptation to contemporary technologies and development methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of professional experience and/or training.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in software development.
• Proven experience as a Java Software Engineer.
• Practical experience with J2EE application development.
• Familiarity with application development using Spring Boot.
• Experience with Kafka or similar event-streaming technologies.
• Experience in developing, deploying, or supporting applications within AWS cloud environments.
• Proficiency in various programming languages.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture and design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in a full-stack environment.
• Exceptional communication and technical influencing skills.
