This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software solutions that range from moderate to high complexity.
• Exhibit engineering discipline by estimating tasks, reporting progress, identifying blockers, and ensuring timely delivery.
• Take ownership of features end-to-end — from the data layer to the user interface — with a strong focus on quality and user experience.
• Contribute to both the design and architecture of new and existing systems, ensuring they align with the target architecture.
• Create prototypes and proofs of concept to assess new technologies and methodologies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with diverse teams, including product management and quality engineering, across various product lines to achieve deliverables.
• Balance the delivery of features while making proactive investments in technical debt, test coverage, and platform health.
• Engage in backlog refinement and sprint planning with a focus on quality, feasibility, and long-term sustainability.
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests as an integral part of development, striving for excellence.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing, maintaining, and innovating large-scale web applications and services.
• Extensive experience with Java, Spring, and Hibernate server applications, including their design patterns.
• Strong background in unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Solid understanding of software design and architecture principles.
• Familiarity with Agile Development methodologies, particularly SCRUM.
• Proficient in relational database technologies.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Webflux.
• Knowledge of the Atlassian Tool Suite (Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence) or similar tools.
• Experience in developing applications within the AWS ecosystem.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript web application frameworks is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Interest or experience in leveraging AI to enhance productivity in software design, development, and testing.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
