Senior Software Engineer – Intelligent Platforms, Agents

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain distributed systems and microservices (hands-on coding role)

• Construct, integrate, and enhance intelligent agents and AI-driven services utilizing LLMs and automation frameworks

• Establish and execute patterns for agent orchestration, system interaction, and decision workflows

• Promote the use of Infrastructure as Code, automation, and “controls-as-code” methodologies

• Collaborate closely with systems engineers and ISSEs to incorporate requirements and security into platform design and coding

• Set development standards for collaboration, testing, and documentation using GitHub

• Guide mid-level engineers through code reviews, collaborative sessions, and technical mentorship

• Spearhead the integration of CI/CD pipelines, security tools, and ATO considerations into routine development

• Work alongside stakeholders to transform mission and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions

• Contribute to an “everything as code” philosophy, representing infrastructure, automation, agent behaviors, workflows, and operational artifacts as version-controlled, testable code

• Define and advocate patterns for articulating intent, requirements, automation, and controls as code, fostering consistency, traceability, and automation throughout the development lifecycle

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess and maintain a Secret security clearance

• BS degree and over 8 years of professional software engineering experience

• Proven experience in designing and constructing complex or distributed systems

• Significant hands-on experience in developing backend services and microservices

• Familiarity with AI/ML systems, including LLM integration in production settings

• Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures and Infrastructure as Code

• Experience delivering software in secure, regulated, or compliance-focused environments

• Capability to bridge software development, systems engineering, and security domains

• Excellent technical communication and leadership abilities
