This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

• Design, develop, and sustain automated tests that align with the comprehensive testing strategy.

• Transform manual test cases into maintainable automated scripts utilizing Playwright or comparable frameworks.

• Construct and enhance the test automation framework to boost reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to guarantee continuous execution.

• Conduct focused manual testing, including system, end-to-end, regression, and exploratory testing.

• Identify, document, and monitor defects while maintaining traceability between requirements, test cases, and outcomes.

• Actively engage in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with engineers to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.

• Deliver clear and actionable test reports to stakeholders.

• Share insights, best practices, and lessons learned within the team and the wider testing community.

• Strong background in software development with experience in writing maintainable test automation code.

• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in test automation engineering.

• Proficient in programming using JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks for web applications.

• Hands-on experience with UI and API automation testing.

• Solid understanding of system, end-to-end, and regression testing strategies.

• Experience in Agile environments with CI/CD integration.

• Familiarity with Jira, XRay, and Confluence for test management and traceability.

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience as a software developer, software engineer in test, or test automation engineer.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
