Senior Software Engineer II – DSM Methodology Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, scale, and maintain backend systems that handle large data volumes.

• Engage in event-driven and API-centric integrations.

• Participate in migration initiatives towards a more domain-centric and scalable architecture.

• Construct and enhance software for workflows that are sensitive to performance.

• Analyze technical issues and suggest viable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in backend software engineering.

• Strong technical expertise.

• Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and event-driven architecture.

• Proficiency with data processing tools and technologies such as Spark, Kafka, and Avro.

• Experience with Python and/or PySpark.

• Familiarity with Docker, SQL, and NoSQL databases.

• Background in REST APIs and event-driven integrations.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to communicate effectively with engineering teams and data science collaborators.

• A degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
