Senior Software Engineer II – Catalog

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and deliver catalog features from start to finish: API design, business logic, data models, and React UI.

• Integrate AI-driven SDLC tools like Claude Code into your daily workflow.

• Engage in the catalog modernization initiative, working on the new technology stack concurrently with the existing platform.

• Create and uphold automated tests.

• Review pull requests, uphold coding standards, and suggest enhancements to the common golden path.

• Collaborate with product and design teams to clarify specifications before and during the implementation phase.

• Implement services with appropriate logging, metrics, and alerts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Typically requires at least 10+ years of software engineering experience.

• AI-driven SDLC: practical experience in deploying production code using AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.

• Full-stack understanding: comfortable contributing across various layers of the tech stack as necessary.

• Ownership of production: experience managing features from specifications through deployment, observability, and being on-call.

• Fundamentals of code quality: solid understanding of software design principles, automated testing, code review, and CI/CD processes.

• Backend development expertise in one or more languages: C#/.NET, Go, Python, Java.

• Proficient in React or a comparable modern frontend framework.

• Skilled in relational databases, specifically MS SQL Server or Postgres.

• Experienced in REST API design and microservice architectures.

• High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
