This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the development of GenAI-powered product experiences and create shared AI platform infrastructure.
• Design, construct, and maintain production AI features.
• Develop a shared AI platform layer that includes retrieval infrastructure and evaluation frameworks.
• Create LLM applications and integrate them with marketing platforms and business intelligence tools.
• Assess model and feature quality using structured evaluation frameworks.
• Utilize AI-driven SDLC tooling for both AI and non-AI code.
• Collaborate with the Personalization team.
• Document design decisions and operational insights related to AI systems.
• Oversee the observability of built AI systems, focusing on latency, cost, quality drift, and error rates.
• Over 10 years of experience in software engineering.
• Proven hands-on experience in deploying production code using AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
• Comfortable contributing across various layers of the technology stack.
• Experience in managing features from conception through deployment.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.
• Fully autonomous; capable of driving technical decisions within the team and mentoring junior engineers.
• Proficient in Python; experienced in building and operating production LLM applications.
• Familiar with at least one area of specialization: RAG and retrieval systems, LLM evaluation, agentic frameworks (such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar), or LLM-based workflow automation.
• Knowledgeable in prompt engineering, context window management, and trade-offs in LLM output quality.
• Familiarity with vector databases, embedding models, or semantic search technologies.
• High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
