Senior Software Engineer – Grails, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain applications utilizing Grails and associated technologies.

• Create scalable and dependable backend services and APIs.

• Utilize AWS services to enhance application deployment, performance, and scalability.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to conceptualize and implement technical solutions.

• Diagnose, debug, and optimize existing applications.

• Engage in code reviews and participate in technical discussions.

• Contribute to software architecture and influence technical decision-making.

• Ensure the quality, reliability, and maintainability of software.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Strong background in developing applications using Grails.

• Experience with AWS cloud services.

• Solid understanding of backend development principles.

• Proficient in building and consuming APIs.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Experience in Agile work environments.

• Practical experience with Grails, Groovy, and AWS.

• Proven track record in developing and maintaining production applications.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, backend architectures, and cloud-based environments.

• Experience with relational databases.

• Capability to work independently and contribute to technical decisions.
