This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical vision and architecture for Aerial Capture, ensuring adherence to clean code standards, establishing technical direction, and making crucial architectural choices.

• Act as a primary code contributor, overseeing projects from start to finish, and proactively coordinating efforts to guarantee reliable delivery, technical excellence, and the swift resolution of team obstacles.

• Elevate the technical standards within the team by offering hands-on mentorship, collaborative pairing, and timely, direct technical feedback to promote the growth of engineers.

• Assume responsibility for system health, including its reliability and maintainability. Advocate for the minimization of technical debt and measure outcomes to enhance value delivery.

• Represent the technical perspective for the team in cross-functional discussions, clearly articulating decisions, trade-offs, and project progress to Engineering Managers and stakeholders.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional experience in full-stack software development, with a demonstrated history of successfully delivering and maintaining production-grade software.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript, along with experience in Python. Familiarity with Java/Kotlin and Go is an advantage.

• Extensive experience with Angular (v20+) or other modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).

• Experience in Android application development is considered a plus.

• Proficient in RESTful and RPC API design, including aspects such as authentication, versioning, and integration with external services. Knowledge of modern database setups, such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB, is essential.

• Strong dedication to software quality, with experience in designing and executing automated testing strategies (unit, integration, and end-to-end testing) utilizing tools like Jest or Pytest.

• Familiarity with microservices, modular architectures, and event-driven systems. Commitment to maintaining high software quality through constant refactoring, performance enhancement, and reducing technical debt.
