Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

• Create high-quality, efficient, and testable code that plays a vital role in company-wide projects.

• Utilize engaging technologies such as Java, Kotlin, Typescript, GraphQL, Kafka, AWS/Lambda, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, with legacy systems developed in Elixir, Ruby, and React.

• Contribute significantly to technical decisions that will influence the future direction of our software systems.

• Embrace opportunities to learn new skills, whether it's a fresh software design pattern or an initiative aimed at advancing the company.

• Assess pull requests and offer constructive feedback to colleagues.

• Collaborate with a teammate to jointly develop features.

• Release user-facing code to production environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional software development experience.

• Proficiency in either Java/Kotlin and Elixir or Ruby on Rails.

• Strong knowledge of the latest ECMAScript (JavaScript) versions, as well as HTML and CSS.

• Experience with React and widely-used tools in the React ecosystem, including Node.js and npm.

• Familiarity with essential programming tools such as IDEs, RESTful APIs, Git repositories, TypeScript, version control systems, and remote deployment tools.

• Understanding of event-driven architectures, database fundamentals, and GraphQL.
