Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of one or more agent interfaces, overseeing everything from LLM integration and tool design to backend orchestration, conversational UI, and evaluations.

• Contribute to the collective agent platform, including tool abstractions, chat persistence, evaluation frameworks, RAG, observability, and permissioning.

• Influence the technical direction regarding agent architecture, framework selection, and model strategy across the Owner.

• Make informed trade-offs concerning latency, cost, and reliability to ensure our agents provide a fast and trustworthy experience in production.

• Elevate agent quality through stringent evaluations, thoughtful iterations, and patterns that other engineers can adopt.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience, with significant involvement in delivering production-level LLM-powered or agent-based features.

• Proficiency in tool calling, prompt engineering, and agent loops; you have developed systems where the LLM is an integral component rather than an afterthought.

• Familiarity with evaluation frameworks and observability for non-deterministic systems (such as Braintrust, LangSmith, custom evaluation harnesses, or their equivalents).

• Full-stack proficiency; capable of navigating between backend orchestration, tool design, and conversational UI without encountering blocks due to hand-offs.

• A strong track record of cross-functional collaboration; former colleagues in product, design, and business would attest to your exceptional teamwork.

• A robust sense of ownership and initiative, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset for identifying and addressing challenges.
