This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable backend services utilizing Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript.

• Create and manage frontend features in Angular, collaborating closely with designers to provide clean and efficient user interfaces.

• Engage in API design, ensuring consistency, security, and maintainability.

• Design database schemas, execute migrations, and enhance query performance across PostgreSQL and SQL Server.

• Take part in system design discussions and assist in defining the technical direction for new features.

• Write thoroughly tested, reviewable code and actively take part in code reviews.

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks throughout the stack.

• Apply security best practices, including JWT authentication, rate limiting, input validation, and prompt shielding.

• Ensure production reliability through PM2 process management, graceful shutdowns, health checks, and structured logging.

• Collaborate across functions with product managers, QA, and other engineers in an agile setting.

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Strong expertise in Node.js with a robust understanding of the asynchronous/event-driven model.

• Real-world experience with Express.js, including middleware chains, request lifecycles, and error handling.

• Proficient in TypeScript – it’s your go-to language, not just a preference.

• Practical experience in building and maintaining Angular applications (version 12 or higher).

• Strong grasp of REST API design principles.

• Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar systems.
