
Senior Software Engineer, Frontend/Vue.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain features for our web application (Vue.js 3/Nuxt 3/TypeScript), contributing to our backend APIs (.NET/C#/Web API) that serve over 160,000 monthly active users.
• Create responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces utilizing Vue.js 3, Nuxt 3, and TypeScript.
• Provide technical leadership and insights across various projects, offering guidance on architecture, system design, and best practices.
• Take ownership of significant technical areas from start to finish, including database schema design and frontend UI, proactively identifying enhancements and driving them to completion.
• Work closely with Product and the Development Manager to define the technical roadmap and prioritize engineering projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues using monitoring tools such as New Relic and Sentry, participating in an on-call rotation to maintain system reliability.
• Over 6 years of relevant experience in professional software engineering, focusing on the development of production web applications.
• Advanced proficiency in modern frontend development with Vue.js 3, Nuxt 3, and TypeScript.
• Expertise in component architecture, state management (Pinia/Vuex), and reactive programming patterns.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and accessibility principles.
• Experience with build tools (Vite, Webpack) and performance optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with REST API consumption and integration between frontend and backend systems.
• Strong backend development skills (proficient).
• Willingness and capability to work with .NET/C# backend code and develop API endpoints.
• Proficient experience with SQL Server or other relational database systems.
• Experience in production support, familiarity with monitoring tools (New Relic, Sentry, or similar), and comfort with on-call responsibilities (proficient).
