Senior Software Engineer, Distribution Platform

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs in Python, incorporating AI-assisted development and automation as a standard aspect of the workflow.

• Take ownership of features from design through to production, ensuring quality, performance, and maintainability.

• Proactively promote AI adoption within the engineering team by introducing, refining, and scaling AI-driven workflows throughout the development lifecycle.

• Identify areas where AI can minimize manual tasks, enhance code quality, accelerate delivery, or boost operational reliability.

• Create and support single-page applications utilizing Vue.

• Collaborate closely with engineers in small, cross-functional feature teams.

• Work together with Product Managers and other teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.

• Partner with your Engineering Manager to foster technical growth, mentorship, and career development.

• Assist with other tasks or projects as assigned to address team and business requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Strong practical experience with Python and backend service development.

• Demonstrated experience in guiding teams to adopt new engineering methodologies, especially those related to AI-driven development.

• Extensive experience in designing, building, and integrating APIs.

• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database systems.

• Familiarity with Docker and Docker Compose.

• Experience in unit and end-to-end testing.

• Proficient in Django, DRF, or FastAPI.

• Frontend experience with Vue or React.

• Understanding of Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and foundational infrastructure concepts.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.
