Senior Software Engineer – CIAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Developing and executing access management solutions, which encompass authentication, authorization, and identity federation protocols.

• Designing and overseeing RBAC frameworks to ensure that users possess the appropriate permissions corresponding to their organizational roles.

• Establishing and enforcing access policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements and adhere to organizational standards.

• Collaborating with application development teams to seamlessly integrate access management solutions into existing applications and services.

• Implementing security measures, such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and monitoring access logs to detect and address potential security threats.

• Managing user provisioning and de-provisioning processes, ensuring that access rights are correctly assigned and swiftly revoked.

• Performing regular audits of access controls and user activities to confirm compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

• Identifying and resolving issues related to access management systems while providing support to users and administrators.

• Maintaining comprehensive, detailed documentation for access management processes, policies, and technical configurations.

• Mentoring junior team members and promoting a culture of security awareness and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Basic understanding of emerging technologies within the IAM sector.

• Extensive knowledge and experience with authentication standards and technologies, including SAML2.0, OAuth2.0, OpenID Connect, multi-factor authentication, adaptive authentication, risk-based authentication, password-less authentication, certificate-based authentication, and Kerberos authentication.

• Strong background in IAM practices and CIAM solutions such as Strivacity, PingOne CIAM, and ForgeRock CIAM.

• Familiarity with Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems and scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Perl, SQL, and web services.

• Proficiency in programming languages like Java/J2EE, HTML, JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, Python, Shell Script, and SQL.

• Proven English language skills essential for creating and maintaining clear documentation of project requirements, design elements, and updates throughout the project lifecycle.

• Ability to build strong relationships with clients, sponsors, vendors, and team members to foster cohesive and effective teamwork.
