Senior Software Engineer – Catalog Domain

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee features from start to finish, collaborating closely with stakeholders to address intricate challenges.

• Develop front-end and back-end systems that seamlessly integrate various services into a cohesive customer-oriented solution.

• Guide junior engineers, manage cross-team projects, and effectively articulate complex concepts.

• Enhance code quality by producing clear, efficient, and testable code while engaging in constructive code reviews.

• Take part in an off-hours support rotation every six weeks.

• Strengthen the technical underpinnings of our platform and elevate standards within our team.

• Be a proactive, collaborative, and conscientious self-starter who embraces challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in building web applications and backend services.

• Strong command of C#, Javascript, and MSSQL for designing, developing, testing, and monitoring production systems.

• Proficiency with relational databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD environments.

• Proven history of successful feature implementation and delivery.

• Experience working within an agile team alongside product managers and quality engineers.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging expertise.

• Proficient in developing high-quality software solutions.

• Comprehend software architecture and SOLID principles.

• Experience in Microsoft-based technology environments.

• Knowledge of API design and integration.

• Familiarity with system design and scalability.

• Understand and utilize version control systems effectively.

• Ability to work collaboratively across engineering, analytics, and business teams.

• Strong work ethic, positive demeanor, and a sense of urgency.

• Familiarity with Vue.js.
