Senior Software Engineer, Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Assist in feature design discussions by providing technical insights and considerations for implementation.

• Develop intricate features and enhancements in accordance with architectural and product specifications.

• Produce high-quality, secure, and maintainable code.

• Engage in code reviews and contribute to the establishment of engineering standards.

• Conduct technical investigations and root cause analyses of issues reported by customers.

• Take part in on-call rotations and assist in incident resolution.

• Enhance system reliability, performance, and maintainability.

• Create and uphold automated unit and integration tests.

• Collaborate effectively with Product Management, Architects, Security, and Technical Communication teams.

• Identify technical debt and suggest improvements.

• Take ownership of delivery, quality, and production stability for assigned tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.

• Proficient knowledge of the C# / .NET ecosystem.

• Strong understanding of SQL, MS-SQL, and database performance optimization.

• Solid knowledge of REST APIs.

• Familiarity with Active Directory.

• Awareness of secure coding practices.

• Experience working with complex enterprise platforms.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

• Excellent debugging and analytical skills.

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools or willingness to adopt them actively.

• Clear and structured communication abilities.

• A strong ownership mindset and a quality-focused approach.

• Experience in the Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) domain is preferred.

• Understanding of access lifecycle management and governance concepts is preferred.

• Experience interacting with enterprise customers and working in production environments is preferred.

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, is preferred.

• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices is preferred.
