Senior Software Engineer, Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems and services that fulfill enterprise requirements.

• Collaborate with fellow engineers to create new features and improve existing functionalities.

• Enhance the performance, reliability, and scalability of current backend systems.

• Engage in the operation of our systems in production, including participating in Incident Response on a rotational basis.

• Execute code reviews and deliver constructive feedback to team members.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and testable code that follows best practices.

• Work closely with engineering, product, leadership, sales, and customers to gain insights into design requests and user experiences.

• Continuously refine existing planning, development, and deployment processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in constructing backend applications using any modern programming language.

• Proficient in distributed systems, microservices, and cloud computing platforms.

• Familiarity with contemporary data storage solutions, such as MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, etc.

• Understanding of current standard methodologies, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and programming languages.

• Strong foundational skills in data structures, algorithms, and web development best practices.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Capability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
