Senior Software Engineer – Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• In the role of Senior Software Engineer on our Automation team, you will collaborate closely with fellow engineers, data scientists, and subject matter experts to develop and maintain Fixify’s automation capabilities.

• You will gain practical, real-world experience with cutting-edge tools and techniques, enabling you to unlock innovative solutions to historically challenging problems.

• By working alongside data scientists, you will play a vital role in shaping our AI architecture, assisting us in leveraging LLMs while ensuring that our solutions are safe, reliable, and scalable.

⛳️ Requirements

• A proven history of building and maintaining services using Python and Typescript.

• Practical experience with AI frameworks such as Pydantic AI and Langchain.

• At least 5 years of experience in developing scalable and observable SaaS solutions utilizing one of the major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

• A commitment to “kind engineering” that results in well-documented, modular code that is enjoyable for the next engineer to work on.

• A sharp attention to detail, particularly when reviewing pull requests.

• A genuine passion for understanding user needs and translating them into effective technical solutions.

• The capability to collaborate across functions and uplift the team with your positive energy.
