Senior Software Engineer, Aura for Business

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop an entirely new and highly strategic product from inception to completion.

• Become a member of the Aura for Business team, dedicated to creating a Managed Service Provider solution that enhances corporate security for personal devices.

• Emphasize mobile-first feature development utilizing React Native and full-stack development with a Node.js framework.

• Assume comprehensive, end-to-end ownership of intricate features, guiding them from the initial design and architecture phase through to development, deployment, and iteration.

• Act as a vital technical collaborator, responsible for interpreting ambiguous business objectives and converting them into clear, scalable technical specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6 - 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering.

• 2 - 3+ years of experience serving as the lead engineer on a team or overseeing large projects.

• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, large-scale projects on schedule and with high quality.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to convey complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• In-depth understanding of software design best practices, data structures, and algorithms.

• Comprehensive knowledge of cloud technologies and the capability to select the appropriate tools for various tasks, such as serverless functions versus containerized services, relational versus NoSQL databases, and judicious use of caches and queues.

• Proven willingness and capability to learn new technologies.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
