Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop solutions using Python, leveraging the complete range of AWS cloud computing capabilities.

• Create and refine AI and LLM-based workflows to minimize overhead and expedite customer achievement of desired outcomes.

• Collaborate in an agile environment emphasizing proactive measures and facilitating team success.

• Develop proofs-of-concept, prototypes, and various solutions to swiftly test concepts and support data analysis, in addition to designing and implementing production solutions.

• Assist in achieving and sustaining compliance with best practices in information security.

• Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to review and ensure that our team delivers maintainable and scalable solutions.

• Share your expertise with and learn from fellow team members throughout the company.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including a minimum of 3 years in backend development. Equivalent experience may be considered in place of a degree.

• Over 3 years of experience in creating production-level Python APIs and applications.

• Proven track record and experience in the architectural design and documentation of intricate systems.

• 1-2 years of experience in developing containerized applications using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and optimizing production systems utilizing AWS cloud computing technologies.

• Expertise in developing and utilizing APIs, microservices, asynchronous tasks, ORMs, and task queues.

• Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases.

• Experience in tuning and troubleshooting Linux-based systems.

• Proficient in unit testing, integration testing, and functional testing.

• Passion for Scrum and Agile methodologies.

• Awareness of current best practice tools for various challenges, with the capability to devise innovative solutions beyond conventional approaches.

• Competence in working within a fully remote team that boasts a diverse range of skills and life experiences.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels of technical expertise, including the ability to engage with non-technical colleagues.
