Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee architectural design for a pivotal problem domain — encompassing AI/ML systems, data pipeline infrastructure, search/retrieval, and platform scalability — taking ownership of key deliverables that enhance customer success.

• Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams — including backend, infrastructure, security, and product — to incorporate advanced technologies into our core platforms.

• Lead the creation of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-native solutions that address significant real-world challenges faced by our customers.

• Promote ongoing enhancements in DevSecOps, observability, CI/CD, and compliance automation to secure high-quality and sustainable project outcomes.

• Guide and mentor senior engineers, cultivating a culture of technical advancement and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

• Resolve the most challenging cross-team technical issues, aligning various teams around shared technical objectives and consistent architectural decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 7 years of professional software development experience in Python, JavaScript, Node.js, C#, Java, or similar programming languages.

• Demonstrated success in designing and leading large-scale system architecture, with strong proficiency in cloud-native architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).

• Strong analytical skills with a commitment to delivering "visionary pragmatist" outcomes, transforming ambiguous business challenges into clear and effective technical strategies.

• Extensive knowledge of DevSecOps, infrastructure-as-code, and best practices in CI/CD.

• Experience in API design, microservices patterns, distributed systems, and data pipeline architecture.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
