This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Design, develop, and sustain tools and platforms aimed at enhancing developer productivity, thereby optimizing the software delivery lifecycle for HP teams.
• Create, develop, and uphold innovative AI-driven SDLC workflows.
• Construct APIs, automation processes, and CI/CD pipelines to expedite development and testing workflows across various services.
• Work collaboratively with SREs, developers, and quality engineers to enhance observability, reliability, and efficiency in deployment.
• Contribute to shared infrastructure services, including ephemeral environments, resource modeling APIs, and automation for developer onboarding.
• Assess and track the performance of production tools to guarantee high availability and minimal latency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent studies and experience.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Strong expertise in Go and/or Python, with a particular emphasis on backend systems and APIs.
• Experience in developing and deploying containerized applications on Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Tekton, alongside modern DevOps practices.
• Understanding of coding assistants.
• Solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
• Nice to Have: Experience in developing internal developer platforms or SaaS tools for engineers.
• Knowledge of observability and logging frameworks (Prometheus, Loki, Splunk, CloudWatch).
• Experience with AI-assisted development, productivity analytics, or workflow automation.
• Contributions to open source projects or involvement in developer productivity communities.
