Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.

• Implement automated testing (unit, integration, performance) to assure software quality.

• Debug and resolve software issues, ensuring high system availability.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver innovative solutions.

• Review code, offer constructive feedback, and ensure compliance with best practices.

• Ensure applications adhere to security best practices and industry standards. Address vulnerabilities and implement secure coding techniques.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and propose innovative solutions.

• Work closely with clients to gather technical requirements and identify and prioritize key development objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other closely related fields.

• Experience: 48 months in the role offered or related occupations.

• Special skills or requirements: 48 months of experience with core languages such as CSS, Java, HTML, or JavaScript.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies; experience with components, templates, workflows, and the AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) development process.

• Experience using collaboration and task management tools, including JIRA and Confluence.

• Proficiency in CI/CD processes that automate the software development lifecycle, aimed at streamlining the building, testing, and deployment of code changes.
