Senior Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design and execution of scalable, maintainable software architectures.

• Propel technical strategy and establish best practices for software development across engineering teams.

• Mentor and support engineers to foster their professional development and technical expertise.

• Work in partnership with product management and stakeholders to develop innovative software solutions that align with business needs.

• Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of Portless’ software offerings.

• Lead code reviews and advocate for high coding standards and quality assurance practices.

• Assess and integrate new technologies and tools to enhance efficiency and system capabilities.

• Contribute to long-term planning and roadmap development that aligns with company goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Significant experience (typically 7+ years) in software engineering, with a proven history in senior or lead engineering positions.

• Project-oriented mindset.

• Advanced proficiency in programming languages (TypeScript, React, JavaScript frameworks).

• Strong skills in architectural design and experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).

• Experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams.

• Comprehensive understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capacity to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
