Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain internal AI enablement tools, services, and developer workflows.

• Create integrations that connect AI functionalities with internal systems, knowledge bases, and daily workflows.

• Convert vague productivity challenges into actionable engineering solutions and reusable platform capabilities.

• Develop and refine prototypes, proofs of concept, and production-ready implementations.

• Assist in establishing robust engineering patterns, documentation, and operational practices for the platform.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools extensively for designing, implementing, testing, debugging, and refactoring software.

• Bring significant hands-on experience with Claude-based development workflows, including leveraging Claude for code generation, architectural exploration, testing support, and iterative problem-solving.

• Assess and enhance prompt, context, orchestration, and retrieval patterns to boost quality, reliability, and speed.

• Apply responsible AI engineering practices, encompassing security, privacy, access control, and the safe management of internal data.

• Implement and integrate Microsoft identity and authentication systems, including Entra ID, Agent 365, and Microsoft 365 services.

• Navigate and address complex identity and authentication challenges within the Microsoft ecosystem, leveraging deep, hands-on knowledge.

• Design and create integrations that effectively utilize Microsoft’s identity infrastructure, including OAuth/OIDC flows, conditional access, and enterprise authentication patterns.

• Exhibit extensive knowledge of the complete Microsoft IT stack—not just the developer stack but also the IT stack: Entra ID, Agent 365, Microsoft 365, Azure, and their interdependencies.

• Collaborate directly with the CEO and executive leadership to grasp the platform vision and translate it into engineering priorities.

• Partner with product, design, architecture, security, and business stakeholders to identify high-value AI enablement opportunities.

• Facilitate rollout, onboarding, and internal enablement by assisting teams in effectively adopting new AI-powered workflows.

• Clearly communicate technical tradeoffs, implementation strategies, and outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Deliver features and services comprehensively, from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and iteration.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while contributing to robust engineering standards and review practices.

• Instrument systems, monitor usage, and assist in measuring the impact of AI enablement on productivity and quality.

• Enhance reliability, performance, and maintainability through thoughtful architecture, automation, and continuous refinement.

• Stay updated on emerging AI engineering tools and techniques and apply them pragmatically where they provide tangible value.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience in building production systems within SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software environments.

• In-depth, hands-on knowledge of the Microsoft IT stack—including Entra ID, Azure, and Microsoft 365—with a focus on identity and authentication architecture.

• Proficient coding skills and foundational software design principles, with experience in developing services, integrations, APIs, and internal platforms.

• Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools in real engineering workflows, particularly strong familiarity with Claude-based development.

• Proven ability to translate ambiguous requirements into solid technical solutions and rapidly iterate from prototype to production.

• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication abilities.

• Comfortable working in high-ambiguity, high-intensity, fast-paced environments across multiple disciplines.
