Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Design & Build: Create and sustain high-quality, scalable web applications using .NET and Angular technologies.

• Technical Leadership (Hands-On): Engage in architectural and design decision-making processes.

• Code Excellence: Produce clean, efficient, and thoroughly tested code; partake in code review sessions.

• Documentation: Develop and uphold clear technical documentation.

• Migrations & Upgrades: Plan and implement application and database migrations.

• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with product owners, QA teams, and fellow engineers.

• Agile Development: Involve in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) utilizing agile methodologies.

• DevOps Contribution: Design, execute, and sustain CI/CD pipelines.

• Quality Focus: Create and run unit tests; resolve production issues effectively.

• Mentorship & Influence: Offer technical direction and informal mentorship to colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.

• Professional Experience: 7–10+ years of practical experience in software development for modern web applications.

• Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core.

• Experience in developing front-end applications using Angular or similar frameworks.

• Extensive experience with Oracle databases.

• Comprehensive understanding of RESTful APIs and service-oriented integrations.

• Proven experience in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with build automation, release pipelines, and deployment procedures.

• Experience in facilitating automated deployment for application and database modifications.

• Strong experience with Git and contemporary branching/merging techniques.

• Experience with unit testing frameworks.

• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization capabilities.

• Dedication to clean code principles, maintainability, and peer code evaluations.

• Experience in generating and maintaining technical documentation.

• Proven experience in planning and executing safe, repeatable code and database migrations.
