Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with product leaders to explore possibilities and rapidly prototype solutions.

• Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers on code design, systems thinking, and effectively managing AI agents.

• Develop backend business logic, enhance our API, integrate with third-party services, and create frontend user interfaces.

• Enhance system performance and resilience, upgrade our technology stack, and pursue ambitious projects.

• Take ownership of what you deploy in production and guarantee reliability as a key feature.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a professional software engineer on teams developing full stack cloud-native web applications.

• Preferably experienced in PHP, but proficiency in any object-oriented programming language is acceptable.

• Familiarity with React applications written in TypeScript.

• Proven experience in creating well-structured, easily understandable, and maintainable software that balances practicality with elegance.

• Proficient in MySQL, utilizing both PHP-based ORMs and raw SQL.

• Skilled in designing and building RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party APIs.

• Capable of working remotely from the Eastern, Central, or Mountain time zones.

• Eligible to work in the United States or Canada.
