Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Designing and developing software from conception through testing and deployment, encompassing new features, enhancements, and bug resolutions.

• Adhering to sound development practices, including collaboration with testing and SQA teams to effectively implement changes in an agile framework.

• Assessing, maintaining, and enhancing the performance and reliability of distributed systems.

• Engaging with a variety of programming languages as required.

• Providing mentorship to Junior Software Engineers on technical matters.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess 4+ years of relevant experience along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.

• Have substantial experience in Java (versions 11/17/21+) and associated ecosystems, including the development of high-performance applications in Linux/Unix environments.

• Exhibit proficiency in delivering secure software, designing distributed systems, implementing microservices architectures, and ensuring code quality through automated testing.

• Show significant experience with containerization platforms and cloud orchestration, particularly using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments such as Azure (AKS, App Service) or AWS.

• Demonstrate familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, including performance optimization and schema design for PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Apache Cassandra, or Oracle.

• Display expertise in CI/CD and observability practices utilizing tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps, along with monitoring solutions such as Prometheus or Grafana.

• Illustrate leadership and mentorship capabilities, effectively conducting technical code reviews, establishing architectural guidelines, and nurturing the development of junior engineers.
