Senior Software Engineer, API Gateway

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the evolution of Five9’s contemporary SaaS platform

• Play a vital role in the creation of high availability, scalability, and reliability within microservices

• Keep abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in API management

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure thorough documentation of APIs

• Design, develop, and maintain the API Developer Portal

• Design, implement, and oversee API Gateway solutions

• Monitor and analyze API traffic to pinpoint performance bottlenecks

• Troubleshoot and provide production support as necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of relevant experience in API/Java/Spring

• Familiarity with API Gateway (APIGee)

• Demonstrated experience in developing and sustaining API Developer Portals

• Participate in a 24/7 on-call production rotation

• Experience with Oauth2 is advantageous

• Practical experience with one of the leading public cloud platforms, ideally GCP.
