This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Design, develop, and sustain contemporary Angular applications utilizing TypeScript, with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Create reusable UI components, effectively manage state, and implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Work closely with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and microservices developed with C#/.NET.
• Ensure smooth integration between front-end applications and backend services.
• Enhance front-end performance, accessibility, and overall user experience.
• Engage in architecture discussions and promote front-end best practices and standards within the engineering team.
• Implement automated testing and contribute to CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality releases.
• Diagnose complex production issues and assist in root cause analysis.
• Mentor fellow engineers and contribute to the advancement of front-end development practices.
• Advocate for the use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Tabnine) to boost productivity and code quality.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time.
• Actively participate in Agile or SAFe development methodologies and continuously assess new technologies to enhance development workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Profound expertise in Angular (modern versions) and TypeScript.
• Experience in building complex, scalable front-end applications.
• Familiarity with integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Understanding of modern front-end architecture patterns, component design, and state management.
• Experience with Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and contemporary development practices.
• Knowledge of backend technologies such as C#/.NET microservices is advantageous.
• Experience in Agile development environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Interest or experience in utilizing AI-assisted coding tools to streamline development workflows.
